Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Dam Project near Soda Springs, CA. This temporary role lasts from May to November 1st. After project completion, you may have the opportunity to continue in our Concord, CA office.
Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, including participation in work‑plan development.
- Manage safety and quality control, ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Forecast and manage budgets, including change order and critical subcontractor management.
- Coordinate with design consultants through design completion on Design‑Build projects.
- Obtain and review submittals for compliance with contract documents and distribute for formal review.
- Draft and submit Requests for Information as required.
- Track process mechanical materials and equipment, develop detailed takeoffs/logs, and ensure delivery prior to installation dates.
- Manage Project Engineers and collaborate with other Assistant Project Managers on other scopes of work.
- Resolve problems involving labor disputes, material delivery, and contract administration.
- Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tools management.
- 4+ years of progressive project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous water treatment construction experience preferred.
- Strong relationship building and people leadership skills.
- Specific roles may require relocation.
Salary Range: $99,000 – $149,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for a bonus and other benefits.
