QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
- 5+ years of experience using hand and power tools (pneumatic & battery-operated), torque wrenches, and measuring devices like tape measures.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
- SAP and Salesforce experience.
- Ability to lift parts or sub‑assemblies up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Proficient in English (read, write, speak) with a strong background in quality and efficiency.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Assemble and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub‑assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders; punch and bend copper on EHRT punch machines as a Mechanical Assembler III.
- Perform sub‑assembly tasks, including mechanical assembly, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires.
- Read and follow BOMs, layouts, assembly drawings, and wiring instructions as needed.
- Use tools appropriately, including setting and using torque wrenches accurately.
- Maintain safety standards, adhering to all safety rules and prioritizing safety for self and others; adhere to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, striving for continuous improvement.
- Support process improvement by following established methods and seeking ways to improve efficiency, while completing additional tasks as assigned.
