Schedule:

6 p.m. – 6 a.m. M–Th with some Friday – Train: 1 week on Days

Salary: $17 – $19 per hour

Pre‑employment background check and drug screen required

• Assist and operate various packaging equipment
• Work in close proximity of machines that compress wood by‑products generated from mill operations or similar manufacturing processes
• Open compression chamber doors, facilitate placement of bags and removal of bales from packaging equipment
• Record bale weights and maintain daily activity records per company standards
• Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment
• Learn and perform standard setups, adjustments, routine maintenance and operating characteristics of all packaging equipment
• Be forklift certified or able to obtain certification to perform basic forklift duties as needed
• Troubleshoot and solve problems

• Forklift experience highly preferred
• Manufacturing and production line experience preferred
• Good eye, hand, and foot coordination
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and multitask
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform simple math calculations

$17 – $19 hourly wage
