Job OverviewWe are looking for an Electrical Assembler Level 2 for our production team in Wendell, NC.
Shift Hours11:30 PM – 7:00 AM (train on the 1st shift for a period of time before moving to the 3rd shift at the manager’s discretion).
CompensationHourly Rate: $22.46 plus a $1.50 shift differential.
Qualifications- 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
- 2+ years of experience with commercial or industrial wiring.
- 2+ years of experience using standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery‑operated tools, wiring tools, and accurately reading a tape measure.
- Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proficiency in reading and working with schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electrical clearances.
- Associate’s Degree or technical training in a related area.
- Proven record in quality and productivity.
- Perform sub‑assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy and workmanship, including proper stripping and crimping techniques.
- Use large power cables, ensuring correct crimping methods, and assemble components on panels per layouts or drawings.
- Record job transactions, read BOMs, and follow layout and assembly drawings.
- Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve.
- Adhere to environmental and occupational health and safety policies, commit to continuous improvement, and be a strong team player.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
