The Coating Operator is responsible for supporting the final steps of production within a biologicals manufacturing environment focused on humic and fulvic-based products. This hands-on position requires staging production totes within a designated area, following standard operating procedures to prep the totes, ensuring timely product movement, and compliance with company quality and safety standards.
- Operate heavy and industrial machinery, such as a forklift
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards
- Operate production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Accurately and legibly complete production activity sheets, logs, and quality control documentation
- Undergo cross-training and be willing to support other operations when needed
- Support material handling, inventory accuracy, and cycle count activities
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel
- Identify and report safety concerns, process deviations, or equipment issues
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by your manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with in chemical, agriculture, biologicals, liquid processing, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
- Ability to regularly lift 55+ pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching overhead.
- Ability to work in dusty, hot, cold, noisy, and industrial manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and industrial machinery.
- Ability to wear required PPE and work safely in production environments.
- Industrial manufacturing and production plant environment focused on humic and fulvic biological products.
- Exposure to dust, raw materials, machinery, and varying plant temperatures.
- Fast-paced operational environment requiring flexibility and responsiveness.
- May require overtime, weekend, or evening work based on production and shipping schedules.
