The Electrification & Automation (E&A) Business Unit offersthefull range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

As a Machinist I,you will be responsible for using precision tools and machines to create, repair, rework and assemble parts made from metal and other materials. You will set up and validate machining programs to ensure the safe and precise production of complex parts according to detailed print specifications. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, configuring settings on various machine shop machines, including but not limited to a mill, lathe and other equipment.

You will be overseeing the entire machining process to guarantee that all components meet the required quality standards. You will also troubleshoot and adjust programs as needed to optimize accuracy and efficiency while adhering to all safety protocols and production timelines. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining consistent output and achieving high-tolerance specifications for each part.
