Senior Pastor - Crouch Community Church (Garden Valley, )

Crouch Community Church () is seeking a Senior Pastor.

The Senior Pastor will lead the church toward the fulfillment of its purpose as taught in the Scriptures and as stated in the Church Constitution. Responsibilities include preaching the Word of God to edify the church, leading the church in evangelism, teaching and preaching God’s Word, overseeing teaching ministries with the elders, supervising church staff, maintaining discipleship with staff, being available for counseling, visitation, funerals, officiating weddings as appropriate, participating in community activities, and attending at least one conference each year.

The Senior Pastor shall be a man of true Christian experience and established character. He shall meet the standards of 1 Timothy 3:2‑7 and Titus 1:6‑9, have experience in pastoral ministry, work collaboratively on a team, exhibit a teachable attitude, and be committed to the Statement of Faith of Crouch Community Church without reservation. The Senior Pastor and his wife are considered members of the church upon appointment.

The Senior Pastor is appointed for an indefinite term. If he resigns, a 90‑day notice is required. If dismissed, the church remains financially obligated for 90 days.

The Senior Pastor will be accountable to the Church Board, serve as an ex‑officio member of all church boards and committees, and be a voting member of the Elders Committee.

• Use individual spiritual gifts to empower volunteers within the church.
• Oversee all programs and activities:
  • Sunday School
  • V.B.S. or similar activities such as a Christmas program
  • Family events and outings
• Participate in non‑church community activities such as schools, chamber activities, Payette Forward, and the community library.
• Recruit and retain volunteers within the church body.
• Develop spiritual attributes of youth to enable active participation during worship (e.g., worship team, scripture reading, visitor greeting).
• Promote cross‑generational relationships.
• Collaborate with the Elder Board to promote unity and growth throughout the congregation.
• Lead with the Elder Board as an integral part of the church’s spiritual growth.
• Maintain open, continuous communication with the congregation.
• Treat all members with love, patience, kindness, respect, and compassion.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in an annual performance review with the Elder Board.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $75,000 (dependent on experience and parsonage occupancy).
