Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP Nights | Ketchum,
Travel RN job in Ketchum, Idaho: Join a Women’s Services team as a Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse supporting LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) care on 12-hour night shifts. This travel nursing contract is a strong fit for an experienced OB RN who is confident managing laboring patients on nights.

Compensation- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2470–$2600

- Unit/Setting: Women’s Services – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
- Start Date: 03/23/2026
- End Date: 06/22/2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12s / 3 shifts per week)
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Clinical Systems: EPIC (charting);
Centricity (EFM) - Unit Snapshot: 6 LDRP beds (secure unit); 1 dedicated C-section OR suite; ~160 births/year
- Experience: 2+ years of recent LDRP and/or Labor & Delivery RN experience (strong L&D considered with some LDRP or postpartum experience within the last few years)
- Core Skills: Newborn stabilization; independent management of laboring patients (especially nights/weekends)
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE (AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced preferred/encouraged)
- Clinical Comfort: Titration of drips such as magnesium and Pitocin (insulin may be used prior to transfer)
- Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and couplet (mom/baby) patients
- Support safe deliveries and immediate postpartum recovery, including couplet care during the first hours after birth
- Assist with C-sections as the newborn nurse (no circulating responsibilities)
- Recognize and respond to high-risk situations (e.g., hypertensive crisis, hemorrhage protocols), stabilizing patients as needed prior to transfer
- Administer and titrate ordered medications/infusions (e.g., magnesium, Pitocin) and monitor maternal/fetal status
- Collaborate with the care team and escalate concerns per unit protocols
- Document accurately and timely per unit standards for patient safety and quality
- Participate in self-scheduling practices and share weekend/holiday coverage equitably with core staff
