Job Description:

Join a fast‑paced Surgical Services team as an OR RN in Ketchum, Idaho—built for travelers who can “hit the ground running.” This assignment is heavily weighted toward orthopedics and sports medicine, with frequent work tied to robotics and endoscopic cases. You’ll also support general and GYN cases, including C‑sections, plus endoscopy coverage where applicable. Expect a steady flow with an average around 8 cases per day and involvement across multiple OR suites, including an endoscopy suite.

The OR team is supported by Charge/ANM leadership and includes CSTs and RN scrub coverage, with orderlies assisting turnover. OR personnel help with room cleaning and turnover alongside the orderly team. Epic is used for EMR documentation, with TDOC for instrument tracking and Pro Vation for endoscopy documentation.

Shift structure runs Monday through Friday with 8‑hour days, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and includes call responsibilities as scheduled. A strong ortho background plus minimum 3 years OR experience is expected, along with endo experience or C‑section experience.

Typical schedule:

Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (may adjust as needed). Call runs 3:30 PM–7:00 AM, typically about 4 weeknights per month, with about 1 full weekend per month (7:00 AM Sat–7:00 AM Mon). On‑call response requires being within 30 minutes of the facility.
