Circulator Registered NurseRegistered Nurse who functions in the Surgical Services setting, specifically, but not limited to the role of Circulator. Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthetist continuously and as needed about patient condition and plan of care during intraoperative phase.
Demonstrates knowledge and competence in utilizing the computer system to perform nursing responsibilities. Hours of the position will vary based on the surgery schedule and includes a rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation.

Associate degree or above in nursing. Six months RN experience required to work in the Operating Room.
Certification and LicensureCurrent Iowa RN license. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting or achievement according to hospital Education Policy.
