Grangeville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a nursing leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care, supporting clinical staff, and helping drive quality outcomes in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

What You Will Do
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations.
  • Support, coach, and develop nursing staff to promote excellence in resident care.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance, surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Help foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered culture.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nurses, CNAs, residents, and families.
Qualifications
  • Active RN or LPN license in Idaho (or ability to obtain). RN preferred.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Previous nurse leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.

Requirements
  • Education:

    Graduate of accredited school of nursing with an ASN or BSN preferred.
  • Licenses/Certification:
    Valid RN or LPN license in the state employed.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • DNS-CT or CDONA, optional.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience:

    2 years successful nursing experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
