American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications along with at least 1 year of ER experience.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a community hospital setting
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:00-06:00)
- Six on, eight off rotation pattern (Thurs-Sat; week 1 Sun-Tues; week
2) - 24-week contract length
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required as needed within scope of practice
- Hospital uses Medi Tech charting system
- Active RN license (state or compact) required in hand prior to start
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS
- AHA certifications strongly preferred (American Red Cross and ASHE Heartsaver not accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
- Medi Tech charting experience preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 supervisor references required, up to 3 total
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay rate
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travel pairs are accepted
- Employees must be separated from the facility for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be submitted at time of application
