Team members work closely with residents, volunteers, and local partners to create a respectful, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere.

Assist the Kitchen Manager in preparing nutritious meals for seniors, focusing on ingredient prep, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.

• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized prep areas.
• Support meal service setup and breakdown.
• Help manage inventory and supplies.
• Engage courteously with staff, community members, and volunteers.

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Basic kitchen equipment and food safety knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current Food Handlers card or ability to obtain.

• Experience in commercial kitchens or food service.
• Familiarity with senior nutrition and congregate meal programs.
