Customer Service Specialist
Our Customer Service Specialist position is the first point of contact for the guests at Stinker stores. As the face of our stores, they answer questions, offer scent-sational recommendations, complete transactions, stock, and keep the store looking fresh. With their help, guests always feel welcome and leave with pep in their step.
What You'll Do
- Provide scent-sational customer service by creating a welcoming environment, assisting customers with their needs, and answering questions.
- Cash out orders with precision, processing payments accurately when handling cash and credit transactions.
- Keep the store smelling like roses by tidying up restrooms, cooler interiors and exteriors, parking lots, fuel islands, equipment, food service areas, shelves, and storage.
- Ensure that the parking lot and interior floors remain free of debris and spills.
- Stay ahead of the stink by adhering to the Safety Manual and promptly reporting any incidents, using appropriate safety signage when needed.
- Keep merchandise front and center by stocking, facing, and maintaining accurate pricing.
What You'll Need
- Solution focused thinking
- You get 5 minutes to complain, and then we solve problems and kick tail! - Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).
- Effective time management, because in the retail environment, one minute it's slow, the next there's a bus full of customers lined up.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age or older
- You don't need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.
- Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees Fahrenheit (hey, at least it's not Antarctica).
Our Food Service Specialist is focused on preparing our delicious Pete's Eats within our retail store locations. We're looking for someone that loves making food as much as we love eating it! The FSS will focus on maintaining the high standards of our food program, which we pride ourselves on being so much more than the 'gas station burrito'. Focused on quality ingredients, this role will create food using the production lists of the store to ensure our customers always have something delicious to choose from when they visit.
What You'll Do
- Provide scent-sational customer service by creating a welcoming environment.
- Prioritize food safety by adhering to proper food preparation guidelines, monitor food time/temperature standards and follow required label and time processes - no skunky business, just proper storage and handling.
- Be a clean freak, in a good way! Ensure that all equipment cleaning and sanitation schedules are being adhered to and tracked.
- Make food, obviously. You'll learn the full Pete's Eats menu and work with Store Leadership to ensure the store offerings match what customers are buying using store production lists.
- Ensure proper rotation of product through the cold case and hot case.
