Territory Account Manager (TAM) — Oral Treatment Sales Team

ViiV Healthcare is seeking an experienced, results‑driven professional in Specialty Sales for the position of Territory Account Manager (TAM) on the Oral Treatment sales team. The role requires thriving in a fast‑paced, complex environment, partnering cross‑functionally, and remaining highly adaptable in a launch context. You will develop strategic business plans, sell to HCPs, service accounts, and work within an integrated account management framework in a buy‑and‑bill treatment model.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
  • Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment.
  • Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities.
  • Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects.
  • Prepare and execute business plans tailored to each customer’s needs to help HCPs scale their treatment model.
  • Coordinate, engage, and partner with cross‑functional team members to deliver an integrated product experience.
  • Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops for a cohesive customer experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively anticipating and addressing HCP needs.
  • Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem solving.
  • Develop and foster external relationships with key customers and thought leaders.
  • Act in ways consistent with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values.
  • Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and view setbacks as learning opportunities.
  • Escalate issues and risks when needed and speak up with courage.
  • Understand and follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • 3+ years of specialty experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight travel; majority of time in market.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, business acumen, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Sales success in complex market access coverage situations.
  • Experience working with HCPs to procure, manage, and administer cold‑chain treatment products.
  • Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Experience partnering cross‑functionally within an integrated account team model that includes multiple field‑based team members.

The U.S. annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $145,500 to $242,500. The salary ranges consider work location within the U.S. market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level, and market rate for the role. In addition, the position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program, depending on the role level.
