Sales Associate/Assistant, Inside Sales
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide contact center support to O'Reilly team members with prompt, courteous, and professional phone service.
- Maintain and communicate through tool & equipment e‑mail box, zipline, etc.
- Support team members and TSMs with equipment sales, shipping, warranty, repairs, leasing, and closing of equipment sales via phone and e‑mail communication.
- Provide training to team members and TSMs with professional equipment sales call techniques, features, and benefits.
- Prepare purchase orders for tool and equipment items not stocked in our DCs.
- Update, track, follow‑up, and log, according to department procedures.
- Ensure equipment site surveys are received from the field and are accurate.
- Promote lease offering program for equipment sales to field team members and O'Reilly stores.
- Complete all assigned daily training to maximize field skills to support Professional Customer growth, remain compliant with company policies and procedures, and minimize accidents and related expenses.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Excellent customer service, phone, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and 10‑key (Microsoft Excel and Word, email, etc.)
- Ability to work well on a team and independently
- 1–2 years automotive or equipment sales experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
