Responsibilities
- Provide contact center support for the Special Markets team and overflow calls from the Tool and Equipment team and the Customer Service Technical Department.
- Collaborate with the Pricing and Bids team on Requests for Proposals (RFP) and bids.
- Collaborate with the O’CAT team to complete competitive interchanges.
- Register, ship, and track displays and support products to trade shows for the Professional Customer Sales department.
- Collaborate with the field Sales team to ensure special markets investments remain at a profitable amount.
- Support all Special Market segments including Agriculture, Turf, Medium Duty, Heavy Duty, Hydraulic, Marine, ATV/UTV, Specialty Lubricants, Industrial Supplies, Power Sports, School Bus, Bulk DEF, Farm Days Sale, Light Duty Trailer, Customer Mud Flaps & Trade Shows, and Snow Plow programs.
- Assist with the review of new hydraulic store set‑up requests.
- Support the field sales team with hydraulic equipment consignments by assisting with hydraulic consignment paperwork, sales warehouse organization, and clean up.
- Complete all assigned daily training to maximize field skills, remain compliant with company policies and procedures, and minimize accidents and related expenses.
- Communicate with the Marketing department to discuss and review product and pricing recommendations for sales flyers and other marketing material.
- Research and recommend new products to the Merchandise department.
- Post information to TSM Conference Calls, Team Weekly, and Team Net.
- Create and distribute communication with stores and the Field Sales team.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Prior fleet industry or management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired:
- Strong technical knowledge within Special Market categories.
- 1‑2 years of automotive and/or Special Markets sales experience.
- Experience with O’CAT and competitive interchanges.
