- Review and update personal tool inventory quarterly, maintaining calibration compliance.
- Complete daily work assignments from customer or supervisor.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, both by phone and onsite.
- Process warranty claim reports following company policy.
- Adhere to safety, environmental, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain courteous communication with customers and internal staff.
- Validate warranty claims and discuss issues with product company.
- Submit service reports and communicate activities to customer and service manager.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Develop customized solutions for customer‑specific issues using specialized expertise.
- Rebuild complete components to OEM specifications in the service shop.
- Perform essential functions on all equipment types across business lines.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert, training and developing other technicians.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, good work ethic, and ability to read basic hydraulic and 24‑volt schematics.
- Own hand tools; willing to expand inventory as needed.
- Complete TL1 and TL2 training and Safe Start Modules 1‑5 within first year.
- Maintain required US Department of Labor training certificates or complete needed training.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record; if required, obtain and maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) for vehicles over 26,001 pounds.
- Travel required.
- Certificate of completion from a technical or trade school, or 2‑5 years of relevant experience.
- Complete TL1 and TL2 within 3‑6 months of hire.
- Certificate of completion from a technical or trade school, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Complete TL1 and TL2 training within 1 month of hire.
* Level will be determined based on selected candidate’s relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
