HVAC Technician

We are looking to hire a detail‑oriented HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair our indoor air quality systems such as air conditioners, boilers, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. • Maximize the efficiency of HVAC/R equipment, ensuring optimal function across our buildings.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, clean, adjust and repair HVAC/R equipment.
• Perform warranty services and emergency repairs on all HVAC/R systems.
• Install energy‑efficient thermostats that save energy and money and swap out old filters for new ones.
• Install heat pumps to help reduce carbon emissions and supply dehumidifiers where needed.
• Participate and oversee installations.
• Apply local HVAC/R codes in a practical manner on each job.
• Provide technical support in the field.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop protocols responsive to need.
• Layout, design, and install low‑voltage wiring.
• Run after‑hours calls as required.

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• 1+ year experience as an HVAC/R technician, and willingness to continue in the HVAC/R field.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge and understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC/R protocols.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read schematics and work plans and to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on holidays with short or no notice.
• Assist with any reasonable requests from management.
• All other duties as assigned.
