Job Summary:

In the grooming department, you will be part of the team operating snow cats at night safely and efficiently. We strive for a top quality and safe snow surface that exceeds our guests' expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safe operation of a Pisten Bully 400 snowcat including:

Daily checkout and inspection of machines.

Correct start-up and shutdown procedures.

Tiller and Blade operation.

Efficient operating practices.

Learn the necessary skills to maintain ski runs around the mountain:

Be familiar with Brundage Mtn. trail system.

Grooming theory and techniques.

Understand changing snow and weather conditions.

Fill out daily grooming log.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent communication skills.

Previous grooming experience preferred.

Heavy Equipment operating experience required.

Strong mechanical knowledge of equipment.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Must be available and willing to work night shifts. We work all holidays and weekends, 40 hours per week.

Ability to drive and pass insurance driving history inquiry

Must be available to work night shifts. Holidays and weekends required
40 hours per week minimum, overtime may be required

Ability to ski or snowboard alpine terrain
