As an Mule Soft Developer at TSPi, you will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining integration solutions using Mule Soft's Anypoint Platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and reliable Mule Soft-based integrations. Your expertise in Mule Soft development and API management will play a key role in ensuring seamless communication between various systems and applications, enabling smooth data flow, and enhancing overall business processes.
Key Responsibilities- Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement Mule Soft-based integration solutions, including APIs, connectors, and message flows, to facilitate the seamless exchange of data between different systems and applications.
- API Management :
Create and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs using Mule Soft API Manager, applying security policies, and optimizing API performance and documentation. - Data Transformation :
Utilize Mule Soft's Data Weave to transform data formats and ensure compatibility between different systems. - Troubleshooting and Debugging :
Identify and resolve integration issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement necessary fixes to maintain system functionality. - Quality Assurance :
Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements, adhering to established testing frameworks. - Collaboration: Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and other developers to understand integration requirements and contribute to the overall technical design.
- Documentation :
Create technical documentation for developed integrations, APIs, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability. - Performance Optimization: Fine-tune integration solutions for optimal performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
- Security Implementation :
Implement security measures, encryption, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data transmitted through integrations. - Version Control :
Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase changes and collaborate effectively with other team members.
Candidates applying for this role should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Mule Soft Development: Proficiency in developing integration solutions using Mule Soft's Anypoint Platform, including Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, Data Weave, and Mule Soft Connectors.
- API Development :
Experience in building and managing RESTful and SOAP APIs, understanding API specifications (RAML, OAS), and applying API best practices. - Integration Patterns:
Familiarity with common integration patterns (e.g., pub/sub, request-reply, scatter-gather) and when to use them. - Data Formats: Knowledge of various data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and expertise in data transformation using Mule Soft Data Weave.
- Web Services: Understanding of web services and protocols, such as HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, and REST.
- Troubleshooting Skills :
Ability to identify and debug integration issues using logging, error handling, and other troubleshooting techniques. - Agile Methodology: Previous experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile practices.
- Communication :
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Candidates with the following skills and experience will be given preference:
- Mule Soft Certifications :
Any Mule Soft certifications, such as Mule Soft Certified Developer, would be an advantage. - Cloud Integration: Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and knowledge of cloud-based services.
- CI/CD Pipeline: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools.
