Salary: £35,689.68 - £38,000

Shift: Monday to Saturday

Shift Times: 6:00am – 3:00pm

Contract: Permanent, full-time

The meat industry is currently in need of skilled butchers, making this an excellent opportunity to learn a valuable trade and build a rewarding career within the Reynolds Group. Full training will be provided to the right candidate, with opportunities to develop your skills in boning, trimming, cutting and portion control.

• Packing, boning, trimming and preparing poultry and red meat products.
• Cutting and preparing customer orders and stock to exact customer specifications.
• Cutting poultry products accurately to meet specific customer requirements.
• Learning how to portion and control products accurately and consistently.
• Developing skills in deboning poultry and other meat products.
• Gaining knowledge of different meat cuts and understanding customer-specific requirements.
• Ensuring all products are prepared accurately and to the required quality standards.
• Working efficiently on your own while supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the wider team.
• Adhering to company food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.

• A genuine interest in catering butchery, boning, trimming and portion control.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good understanding of the English language.
• Basic reading and writing skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience working with knives or kitchen skills would be an advantage.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to developing a career in butchery.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
