A Floor Layer is required, working for a reputable local contractor in partnership with a local council. The role will involve carrying out flooring repairs and maintenance works on domestic properties, with a particular focus on cap and cove flooring. Candidates should be experienced in working with cap and cove flooring and capable of completing associated flooring works to a high standard.

Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience is essential.

• Carrying out cap and cove flooring repairs and installation on domestic properties
• Preparing floors and ensuring surfaces are suitable for flooring works
• Completing associated flooring works where required
• Providing a high level of customer service to residents
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently
• Participating in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency repairs

• Must have proven experience as a Floor Layer, particularly with cap and cove flooring
• Must have a full UK manual driving licence
• Must have previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience
• Must be able to complete flooring repairs and installations to a high standard

• Company vehicle, fuel card and uniform supplied
• Overtime opportunities available, including evenings and weekends
