MET Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician (Twilight) to join a reputable Accident Repair Centre located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to secure long-term employment within a well-established organisation, working on a variety of insurance, prestige, fleet, LCV, hybrid, and electric vehicle repairs.

40 Hours per week 12:00pm - 9:00pmDuties of an MET Technician:

Conduct mechanical, electrical, trim, and body component removal and refitting
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults accurately
Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer and insurer standards
Work efficiently to meet repair targets and deadlines
Perform comprehensive quality checks prior to vehicle completion
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Collaborate closely with Panel and Paint Technicians to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements of an MET Technician:

Previous experience as an MET Technician is essential
Qualified to NVQ, IMI, ATA, or equivalent is preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical repair knowledge
Ability to perform efficiently within a busy bodyshop environment
High attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
Full UK Driving Licence required
