General Accountant

Overview

This is a full-time General Accountant role located on-site at Frey Farms in Bascom, FL. The General Accountant will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, including recording and reconciling transactions, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audits. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing budgets, and providing detailed financial reports to support decision-making processes.

• Proficiency in financial accounting, auditing, and reconciling statements
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Strong organizational and analytical skills for managing budgets and producing financial reports
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as Quick Books or ERP systems
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance in accounting practices
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment
• Prior experience in agricultural or manufacturing industries is a plus
