Location: Lemont, Illinois (1 day in office, hybrid)
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable
, including vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment processing - Oversee Accounts Receivable
, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations - Prepare and file sales and use tax returns accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform monthly reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
- Support budgeting and cost tracking efforts (experience with cost accounting is a plus but not required)
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
, preferably with a focus on A/R - Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Experience with sales tax compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Cost accounting experience is a plus
