Accounting Manager Automotive Manufacturer

Overview

An automotive parts manufacturing company near the Marseilles, IL area is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their plant. You will oversee accounting team and activities. The ideal candidate will have prior accounting leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

This is a HYBRID position (usually onsite only Wednesday & Friday of each week)

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(K), paid holidays and vacation. Must be able to work on-site.

• Oversee accounting four-person team (AP, AR, GZL, & cost accounting)
• Manage close processes (monthly, quarterly, & annual)
• Monitor team financial reports, account analyses and reconciliations
• Oversee cost account functions (variance analysis, maintenance, inventory)
• Work with Controller on ERP update project
• Main contact between accounting team and all external parties

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) (Master’s or MBA is a plus)
• At least 5 years of accounting leadership experience
• Prior experience managing close processes
• Must have related experience within a manufacturing and/or cost accounting environment
• Must be able to work within a multicultural environment
