About the RoleControllers on the Client Advisory Services (CAS) team provide high‑level oversight and technical accounting support for our clients, acting as their go‑to financial resource. The Controller will manage the monthly close and reporting process, offer strategic insights, and bring calm confidence to complete financial situations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee accounting activities for assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Lead the month‑end close process and prepare financial statements
- Advise clients on GAAP compliance, system improvements, and process efficiencies
- Support audit preparation and respond to third‑party inquiries (e.g. banks, insurance)
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem solving
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and controls
- Strong command of Quick Books and Excel‑based reporting
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders
- Adaptability to client‑specific nuances across different industries
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred
- 4‑6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Client‑facing experience high preferred
