Senior Financial Accountant

Overview

A fast-growing, multi-billion-dollar North American company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team.

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office
• Reports to Corporate Accounting Manager
• Strong visibility across corporate and central accounting functions

• Prepare month-end journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations
• Support month-end close and drive process improvements
• Maintain accurate accounting records and strengthen internal controls
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements
• Support technical accounting research and special projects

• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
• 3+ years of experience (open to strong candidates just under 3 years if coming from public accounting)
• Background in public accounting or large corporate accounting environments
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and month-end close processes
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment
