Compensation$21/hr and up
Days/HoursThis will be a day shift job

- Process grain accounting transactions
- Interpret documents from customers (invoices, statements, checks, etc.)
- Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors
- Execute timely advances, payments and invoices in grain accounting software
- Identify and resolve issues that may be found in your day-to-day processing
- Maintain status of easily accessible reports, files and records.
- Provide great customer service by working directly with producers regarding settlements, payments, and account questions
- Assist in the purchase of farm products/commodities such as – but not limited to – wheat, corn, sorghum, and/or soybeans
- Work on special projects under direct supervision and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with grain accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in math
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
- Great interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail
- This job is not physically strenuous. You must be able to sit at a desk and be able to utilize computers.
- This job requires the ability to read and comprehend written and oral operational and safety instructions and related rules, policies, and memos, and to communicate clearly with your co-workers and supervisors.
- It is important to have vision and hearing skills that help you communicate with good interpersonal skills.
