Overview
At Future Care, our Patient Account Coordinators ensure all necessary requirements are met so that the facility will be paid for services rendered. This Accounts Receivable / Patient Accounts role involves reviewing, inputting, processing, and coordinating billing and receivable information between the facility and the Corporate Office.
SalaryThe salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role: $55,000 – $70,000 per year
. Bonuses or other incentives are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider factors such as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

- Perform verification of medical insurances
- Input, review, and maintain admissions data
- Conduct daily census reporting
- Complete monthly AR reviews and communicate outstanding balances with residents/RP/POA as required
- Prepare and issue collection letters, including follow-up calls as needed
- Maintain resident funds accounts in accordance with State Comar regulations
- Maintain resident information confidential by staying HIPAA compliant
- Ensure timely accurate completion and submission of all State Medicaid applications
- High school diploma preferred with evidence of college courses in accounting
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience supporting financial teams in a long‑term healthcare facility is a plus
- Initiative and proactive; willing to take on new and challenging assignments
- Ability to multi‑task and support multiple critical functions in a changing and growing environment
- Strong observation skills and keen attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems using logic and reasoning
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with other accounting team members, departments, and management
