The Village of Lemont is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the Finance Department. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily accounting operations, payroll, and financial reporting, while guiding budgeting, audits, and internal controls for a growing municipality.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in accounting/financial management, strong government accounting knowledge (GAAP/GASB), and a CPA is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and supervisory skills are essential.
