We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Red Bud, IL. • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage and maintain vendor accounts and relationships.
• Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
