Student Worker Eligibility: Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Answer phones.
- Open electronic door to visitors.
- Greet visitors to the center.
- Perform general clerical duties which include but are not limited to light typing, filing, and mailings.
- Other duties as assigned by office staff.
- Education
- THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
- If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
- If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
- Experience
- Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Previous customer service work preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications
- COD Training
- PC, multi-line phone, copier and fax machine.
- Office environment.
- This position is located on Swift Road in Addison.
- This student position requires the following test/tests:
Background Check.
Spring Term:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 11 am to 3:30 pm. Possible Additional hours as needed for Friday and Saturday: 9 to 2 pm.
Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
