Timi's Tours is currently hiring for a Human Resources Assistant at our main office located in Moweaqua, IL. Timi's Tours is a family owned, and family oriented Group Travel & Charter Bus company, that is rapidly growing and evolving. As a HR Assistant, you will work with our Human Resources, Safety, and Charter departments on a variety of tasks, with a focus on compliance with State & Federal Regulations, and company operations. Timi's Tours prides itself in operational excellence, and strives to improve every day. Our team is collaborative, and we welcome innovation and improvements from our colleagues.
Job Duties:- Assist with recruitment
- Assist with company benefits' open enrollments and the preparation thereof
- Assist with all aspects of onboarding for entire company
- Maintain employee records
- Run background checks and drug tests
- Monitor DOT physicals & driver’s License
- Maintain DOT files
- Ensure compliance with US DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
- Assist with organizing and presenting quarterly safety meetings
- Assist with ensuring all company vehicles have the appropriate paperwork in them
- Assist with ensuring all company vehicles have up to date inspections
- Assist with ensuring drivers are compliant with HOS
- Ensure CUA permits are in all tour and charter binders/folders before departure
- Assist with filing and data entry as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- 2+ years in customer service
- 2+ years in the transportation industry
- 2+ years of clerical experience
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, adapt to change and think out of the box
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
- Possess a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize projects
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills
