Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager
- Support the Project Manager with daily operations to ensure efficiency and organization.
- Assist with public housing applications, including interviewing applicants and processing documentation.
- Handle tenant communications, including complaints and lease enforcement.
- Accept and process rent payments.
- Assist with basic Accounts Receivable tasks.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; take accurate messages.
- Sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondence.
- Schedule appointments and greet visitors professionally.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
- Maintain and update both paper and electronic filing systems.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in preparing materials and attending Board Meetings.
