This is a full-time, on-site Reception Administrative Assistant role based in Barrington, IL. The Reception Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, and responding to general inquiries in a professional manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the front desk area, scheduling and confirming appointments, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining organized records and filing systems.
The role will support various administrative functions such as preparing basic correspondence, updating internal documents, and assisting with data entry and office supply inventory. The Reception Administrative Assistant will work closely with team members to ensure the office runs smoothly and provides a welcoming experience for clients and partners.
- Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette.
- Proficient in Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, with the ability to handle scheduling, filing, and basic office support.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Comfort using standard office software (e.g., email, calendars, word processing, spreadsheets) and office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work on-site full time in Barrington, IL.
- Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or office support role is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in office administration is a plus.
