A busy family law office seeks a dependable, organized administrative assistant to provide clerical and administrative support to attorneys and paralegals. The role is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some schedule flexibility, and pays $20-$28 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:Answer incoming calls professionally and assist clients in a courteous and helpful manner.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
Prepare and process basic legal documents and correspondence.
Scan, file, organize, and maintain client records.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and general office paperwork.
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff.
Provide strong day-to-day support to the paralegal and senior legal assistant.
Maintain accurate and organized records.
Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion.
Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support the office.
Previous administrative, clerical, secretarial, or professional office experience.
Excellent telephone, communication, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
A high level of accuracy and follow-through.
Dependability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Comfort learning and using technology, computers, and office software.
