Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance:
    Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, ensuring they meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Diagnostics:
    Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair mechanical problems.
  • Repair Services:
    Conduct repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other key vehicle systems.
  • Customer Communication:
    Clearly explain vehicle issues and maintenance requirements to clients.
  • Record Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance services.
  • Parts Ordering:
    Identify and order parts required for necessary repairs.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
  • Certification: ASE certification preferred, or equivalent professional experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Experience:

    Previous experience working as an automotive technician, preferably with experience in a dealership environment.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, steering, and electrical.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong diagnostic abilities and the capability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
  • Communication:
    Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service: A commitment to providing high-quality service and maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to work in a dynamic environment and keep up with new automotive technologies and industry trends.
  • Physical Capability:
    Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
