Data Insight Analyst (Level2) / Principal Data Insight Analyst (Level3)

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Data Insight Analyst (Level2) or Principal Data Insight Analyst (Level3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Edwards AFB, CA.

• Specify, collect, process, and present information from multiple disparate data sets.
• Generate actionable knowledge from data.
• Develop recommendations quickly based on quantitative and qualitative data from many sources.
• Identify patterns and higher‑level information using tools and application programming.
• Explain the different insights generated from the data.
• Maintain data integrity and metrics reporting.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems such as avionics and mechanical equipment as well as other common systems.

• Must have 2years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 0years with a master’s.
• 6years of relevant experience may substitute for education.
• US citizen holding a minimum active DoD Top Secret security clearance, in scope within 5years, and willing to submit to a polygraph.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
• Ability to extract and manipulate data from databases (e.g., SQL, SQL Server).
• Ability to use statistical programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, Tableau).
• Experienced Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Experience conducting ad hoc research and reporting through data analysis.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends, and 24/7 on‑call status.

• Technical writing skills and ability to communicate complex data simply and action ably.
• Additional education and/or experience relevant to aircraft systems, aviation, and aerospace industry.

Primary Level: $81,300.00 – $. Secondary Level: $ – $.
