Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
OverviewFederal Contract Specialist IV responsible for overseeing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing contract administration.
Core Responsibilities- Prepare solicitation documents and manage the procurement process.
- Receive, record, and review offers and modifications.
- Conduct cost/price analysis, participate in negotiations, and document fair and reasonable pricing.
- Maintain official contract files, ensuring compliance with federal and GSA procurement regulations.
- Process contractor invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and perform closeout actions.
- Manage the placement and administration of both simplified acquisitions and formal contracts.
- Handle high‑dollar transactions and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Minimum of 8 years of federal contracting experience, with construction project experience highly desirable.
- Preference given to candidates with FAC‑C, DAWIA, or GS‑1102 certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree or procurement certifications required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must participate in a federal background investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree and (minimum) 8 or more years in communications.
