Contract Specialist

We are seeking a Contract Specialist to support the creation, review, and administration of consultant and speaker agreements within a large enterprise environment. This role is responsible for ensuring timely contract execution while maintaining compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, legal teams, compliance partners, and external professionals to support critical business initiatives.

Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, customer service focus, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and support strategic contracting operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review, prepare, and process consultant and speaker agreements in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external professionals to facilitate timely contract execution.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and records to support audit readiness and operational compliance.
  • Monitor contract progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support contract negotiations and assist with resolving agreement related issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve contracting processes and promote standardized practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple requests and priorities.
  • Utilize ERP system and contract management tools to track and administer agreements.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, medical affairs, research, and commercial teams to support contracting activities.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience processing high volumes of contracts.
  • Experience with contract administration, review, and documentation management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences environments.
  • Experience supporting consultant or speaker contracting programs.
  • Knowledge of industry compliance guidelines and regulations.
  • Experience using ERP system and contract management platforms.
  • Exposure to global contracting activities.
  • Project management experience.
