Procurement Specialist
The Procurement Specialist will be part of the Procurement Organization, which is responsible for sourcing, contracting, and category management services across various functional areas within the company. This role supports the Procurement Category Associate Director and focuses on executing and managing the category strategy at the transactional level as set by the Category Team. The primary objective is to lead through the execution of assigned activities while enhancing process efficiencies.
Responsibilities:- Understand and guide requestors to the appropriate buying channels and contracting policies for goods and services as identified by the Supplier Management Team.
- Provide administrative support for procurement projects and supplier management, including contract redlining and execution, contract reviewing, bid summary justifications, and data analysis.
- Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support the Category Team strategy by enforcing the supplier preferred network, understanding Category Team initiatives/priorities, and educating stakeholders.
- Review and negotiate Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and other agreements in alignment with agreed category strategies, within the authorized financial spend level.
- Manage standard Procure-to-Pay intake contract requests within established Service Level metrics.
- Assist in executing process efficiency-related projects to improve customer experience within the Procure-to-Pay process.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement/negotiations experience in Purchasing, preferably in Facilities Management.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience in vendor negotiations and Contract Management.
- Analytical and financial acumen for cost analysis, budgeting, and savings identification.
- Understanding of contracting in the Indirect Procurement space (Statements of Work, Master Agreements).
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple cross-divisional work processes and projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and contracting experience.
- Good problem-solving skills and effective communication.
- Real Estate Services Procurement experience.
- Coupa contract experience is highly desirable.
- Open sitting environment with both individual and teamwork.
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work remotely 2 Day a week (Monday and Friday) and required in-office presence 3 Day a week (Tuesday to Thursday).
- No overtime is offered or required.
- No travel is expected for this position.
