Public Sector Strategy Consulting Intern

As an intern in our Public Sector Strategy Consulting team, you will actively shape the future of the public sector. Your consulting activities will focus on strategic fundamental issues and organizational direction decisions for the administration of tomorrow. You will not only drive the modernization of public organizations but also create sustainable societal impact.

What you can expect

Shape the future of the public sector

Together with your team, you will advise public institutions such as ministries or state-owned companies on key future topics: from strategy development to the realignment of organizations in times of agentic AI and the design of complex transformation projects – you will engage with the biggest challenges facing the public sector today, analyze future trends, bring in innovation impulses, and contribute to deriving action recommendations.

Take responsibility and get involved actively

As an intern, you will conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, research relevant (political) frameworks, and contribute to the development of solution concepts and decision-making bases. You will work on different work packages – you will evaluate information, prepare content in an addressee-appropriate manner, and design innovative workshops.

Work and grow in interdisciplinary teams

You will work in interdisciplinary, diverse teams – remotely, in the office, or with the customer on site. What we are looking for

• You are in at least the fifth semester of your bachelor's degree or in a master's program (all majors welcome)
• You bring first practical experience related to strategy consulting, the public sector, or a comparable field.
• You are characterized by analytical sharpness, a structured way of thinking, and a high willingness to learn.
• You work carefully, with a pronounced quality requirement and keep an overview even under time pressure.
• You enjoy a team-oriented way of working and the joint development of innovative solution approaches.
• You convince with a sovereign and empathetic demeanor and pronounced communication skills in German and English.
