10 is currently seeking a Team Lead for a contract position with a National Freight Company located in Bedford Park, IL. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $26.00 per hour, W2

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Team Lead to lead daily warehouse and e-commerce fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the team and ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, support, and inspire a team of associates to meet performance goals while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment Take ownership of daily operations by assigning tasks, balancing labor, and guiding workflows to keep everything running smoothly Drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability by ensuring adherence to SOPs and maintaining a clean, organized workspace Coach and develop team members through hands-on training and mentorship, helping them build skills and grow within the organization Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and efficiency across areas such as picking, packing, and shipping Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement improvements that enhance operational performance Partner with cross-functional teams including Safety, Operations, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources to achieve shared business goals Serve as a central point of communication—keeping managers, support teams, and associates aligned and informed Support onboarding and continuous development to build a high-performing, engaged team Proactively address challenges, remove obstacles, and escalate concerns when needed to keep operations on track Adapt to changing priorities and play a key role in supporting peak and high-volume periods Primary Requirements:
At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States Able to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with flexibility for overtime as needed Comfortable in a physically active role—lifting up to 49 pounds, standing/walking for up to 12 hours, and performing tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing stairs Able to work in varying conditions, including different noise levels and temperatures (including outdoor areas) 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products and applications High school diploma or equivalent Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role Desired

Skills:

Previous experience leading or supervising a team Experience in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or retail Familiarity with performance metrics and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean) Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop others Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
