Project Manager II - Interior Construction & Tenant Improvements

Join our dynamic construction team as a Project Manager II specializing in fast-track interior renovations and tenant improvement projects
. In this critical leadership role, you'll oversee high-value construction projects ranging from $1M to $20M+ in live, occupied facilities. From preconstruction through closeout, you'll drive project success, manage financial performance, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver exceptional results that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complete project lifecycle for interior construction and tenant improvement projects valued between $1M-$20M+
  • Lead preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering activities
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams in occupied building environments
  • Monitor project financial performance including budgets, change orders, and cost controls
  • Serve as primary client liaison, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout project duration
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and schedule adherence
  • Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and closeout procedures
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers and assistant project managers
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, owners, and stakeholders to resolve design and construction challenges
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards, code requirements, and company best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing interior construction projects
    , tenant improvements
    , or commercial renovations
  • Proven track record delivering fast-track construction projects in occupied, operational facilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in construction project management including budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client, architect, and subcontractor relations
  • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and construction technology platforms
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • PMP, CCM, or LEED certification is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting demanding deadlines
