Assistant Project Manager

Trillium Construction is hiring for an Assistant Project Manager in Lemont, IL to work directly with a well-established commercial landscaping company that specializes in landscape design, construction, and management services.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for working with the Project Manager to ensure a new project has a seamless transition from the awarded phase into production.

Duties:

• Directly support Project Managers during the post awarded construction phase of a new project
• Organize project information within our internal data systems and prepare necessary documents for clients
• Prepare product data, shop drawings, subcontractor info for submission into clients for all active commercial jobs
• Maintain submittal logs throughout the entire process until final approvals
• Working with vendors and manufacturers to manage lead times, purchasing, and staging of deliveries
• Working with nurseries to manage availability, tagging, photo submittals, purchasing, and staging deliveries
• Maintain a tracking system for procurement of all construction materials by job
• Maintain and update Job status reports
• Assist superintendent and project managers during various stages of the construction process
• Assist in reviewing and verifying quantities and unit prices of subcontractor work orders
• Assist with Punch List items and project close out

Compensation:

• Annual salary between $75k - $95k
• PTO
• Paid holidays

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years' experience in the landscape industry preferred
• Knowledge of construction techniques and industry best practices
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
