Assistant Teaching Artist

The city of Montigny-en-Gohelle, within its artistic and cultural policy, is recruiting for its Municipal Conservatory of Arts an assistant teaching artist (M/F) in the discipline "musical training" (part-time position 3 hours per week).

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching the specialty "Musical Training" in the 1st and 2nd cycles within the different proposed pathways.
• Organizing and ensuring the follow-up, orientation, and evaluation of students.
• Ensuring the transmission of the broadest musical currents and repertoires.
• Developing the artistic curiosity of students.
• Participating in the construction and structuring of musical training curricula.
• Participating in pedagogical and work meetings.
• Participating in musical creation and dissemination actions organized by the establishment.
• Initiating and participating in innovative pedagogical projects developed in a cross-functional manner within the establishment.
• Contributing to the reflection and implementation of the establishment's project.
• Participating in the rayonnement of the Conservatory on the territory, its agglomeration, and beyond in the framework of the deployment of its cultural action.
• Participating in artistic manifestations linked to its areas of competence.

Working conditions:

• Work in a classroom arranged within the Municipal Conservatory of Arts.
• Working hours mainly on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and/or in the evening.
• Time constraints and leave related to the operation of the school calendar of zone

As an artistic teacher, you have solid experience in teaching Musical Training and are able to develop a diversified pedagogical project, notably relying on your knowledge, artistic experience, and pedagogical project. Dynamic, you have a sense of public service, a taste for teamwork, and evident relational qualities. Desired related skills. B framework of the Territorial Public Service or on the aptitude list (Gold Medal, DEM required or DE desired).
