We are seeking a Dental Front Office:
Benefits/Billing Coordinator to collaborate with our team to improve our patients’ dental health and smiles. As a Front Office Coordinator, you will deliver best-in-class patient care and focus on putting every patient first, every visit.

Part time hours and a schedule that creates a great work/life balance with NO weekends!
Open to full time in the future.

This role works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate insurance processing, timely collections, and a positive financial experience for patients.

• Proactively follow up on pending, delayed, or partially paid claims by contacting payers and resubmitting or correcting claims as needed.
• Review and correct misapplied payments, duplicate charges, and unapplied credits; coordinate timely patient or payer refunds when necessary.
• Conduct systematic follow up on overdue patient balances using phone calls, texts/emails, and documented payment arrangements.
• Discuss balances and set up payment plans that align with practice policy and third party financing options.
• Escalate chronic delinquent accounts to internal collections, outside agencies, or small claims processes in accordance with office protocol.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer rules, and office financial policies in all insurance and billing activities.
• Partner with front desk, hygienists, and doctors to ensure estimates are accurate, treatment is scheduled with financial clarity, and same day collections opportunities are maximized.

• At least 1 year of prior experience working in dentistry
• Knowledge of Dental operations is preferred
• Technical expertise in dental insurance benefits is preferred
• Must possess a strong desire to meet performance standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
