Dental Hygienist – Beardstown Family Dental
507 Washington Street, Beardstown, IL 62618
Schedule
- Monday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Wednesday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Thursday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
- 2 Fridays per month: 7:30 am – 12 pm
- Consistent patient schedule: approx. 7‑8 patients a day
- 60‑min retrieve and prophylaxis
- 60‑90 min SRPs (hygienist autonomy)
- 90 min new patient appointment

Minimum Qualifications
- Current Illinois dental hygienist license
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR certification
Preferred Experience
- Open to new graduates or experienced hygienists
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to learn and grow clinical skills
- Ability to provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting and standing
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs at times
- Availability for virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically
- Must pass a tuberculosis test prior to employment (unless in FL or TN)
